Here’s some info on moving your data over from Unified Practice to Jane.
Exporting your Patients from Unified Practice
So coming from Unified Practice, we’ll need you to upload your Patient List export with as much detail as possible. Your patients’ demographics can be exported to CSV for easy import into Jane.
To export your Patient List go to Reports > Patient Summary.
Click the Export button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen to export this report to CSV file.
Here is a helpful guide on Exporting Patients from Unified Practice.
Exporting your Unified Practice Appointments
Unfortunately, at the time of writing this guide, Unified Practice does not have any Appointment reports that can be exported to excel format.
You can always contact Unified Practice for any updates they may have made to this area.
Exporting your Unified Practice Chart Notes
Unified Practice will perform a chart export for you free of charge. Your chart notes will be exported in PDF format which is one of Jane’s preferred file types for importing chart notes. You will need to ensure that the PDF files have a way to link back to the patient. You can learn more or get a refresher on the best approach for linking chart notes to a specific patient in our Basics of Importing and Diving Deeper Into Importing.
To speak with a Unified Practice representative about exporting your patients’ charts, you will want to Contact Unified Practice directly.
Unified Practice Billing Data
We don’t import billing information as there are formatting issues between the two systems, but we can show you how to manually transition your patient credits and receivables into Jane.
Uploading into Jane
To ensure that your data is uploaded to the correct account, and for security reasons, we do not accept patient data via email. You can upload the files to us in the Settings > Schedule an Import area.
You can find an overview of this process here: Scheduling Your Import.
